Zespri Aims Games

Brand collateral and event rollout design.

The Zespri AIMS Games saw 323 schools and almost 11,000 students competing across 23 sports. It was our pleasure to collaborate with the team at Zespri and AIMS Games to create the collateral and help contribute to this amazing community event.

2022 saw the return of the AIMS Games after a two year hiatus due the COVID-19 pandemic. The intermediate-age sports tournament was as big as ever and required a new look and feel, energy, and life behind the event design to go with it.

We worked on a wide range of brand collateral pieces to help bring the event to life around Tauranga, including; flags, signage, banners, posters and scrim. As well as designing key pieces for the participants to get excited and involved in the tournament. These included a player handbook, player trading cards, and a number of different interactive games that were on-site for the athletes to interact with between events.

It is the biggest week of the year in Tauranga and one of the largest sporting competitions in the Southern Hemisphere.

Seeing the event design come to fruition, seeing everyone else’s hard work, and then what the participants get out of it as well is what makes it so special.
